The Helios Collection was inspired by the Sun King or also known as Louis the Great king of France (Louis XIV) who ruled France for 72 years (1643-1715). He took the symbol of Apollo the god of sun and light as his personal emblem and adorned the ornate golden gates at the Palace of Versailles with this symbol. The symbol is the crowning touch to these earrings.
